Some of Alex's favorite things

Every week a few therapists from the White Bear Lake School District come to hang out with Alex and see his progress. On one occasion, one of the therapists was wearing this cute, knit, beanie and Alex spent most of his time trying to get it off her head and onto his. It may be purple and have a flower on it, but it was adorable on him.  :-)
Alex has really started enjoying feeding himself.  This is a huge triumph but means a bigger mess for me. :-) Who needs hair product when you have PB&J, peaches, and other yummy, sticky foods.
Steve had brought home some games that he was shipping to a friend and Alex thought that this new addition to our apartment was so fun! The box wasn't completely full and he figured the little space was a special seat just for him. :-) When it was time for bed we could hardly pull him away from it....there were many tears.  The next morning he went straight back to it when he woke up.

Alex and Steve got into a face-making game.  Alex thinks tongues are the funniest thing right now.

The missionaries in our ward come to our home on Monday mornings (their preparation day) to play games with us.  Steve doesn't got to work until 10am and it gives them a fun little break.  We enjoy having them in our home and Alex thinks they are great.  He has especially come to like Elder Pilcher. He sits down and has these "talks" with Alex and he just sits quietly listening to him (he never so calm when someone is talking...unless it's Mickey Mouse).

Alex looks so cute when he sits on the couch and watches his favorite show.  He's recently discovered the armrest.
