This post may go kinda backwards. I'm trying to play catch up and so the latest developments in our family go first. Alex has discovered a lot of new things. He's reaching up and is fascinated with spaces under places.
Last Friday we went and got Alex's trial hearing aids. So far it has gone ok. He's a little irritated with the right ear but over all we are impressed with how well he is adjusting. Hopefully these hearing aids provide the solution to his hearing loss.
He loves trying to extend his bedtime. :-) Turning into a true child. He's the happiest little guy in the world when we give in and bring him out in the front room with us.
He's upgraded to taking baths in the sink. Hopefully our next place will have a bath tub. We didn't consider how important those are for babies and toddlers.
Alex has always had a fascination with Steve's nose. His new game is to try to bite daddy's nose.
Alex loves gift wrap bags. Forget the presents....just give him brightly colored, textured bags.

Mom and Dad Kimball went on a cruise with the Kimball brothers and sisters and brought us all back some goodies. This dolphin was a big hit with Alex. He especially loves the nose.

The play pen is one of our best friends. It allows me to get a shower in the morning; it is Alex's sanctuary when he's had enough of open spaces, and lets
Alex loves when "Uncle Andrew" comes to visit. Andrew tells Alex all kinds of funny creative stories, sings songs, and just has a very expressive voice and face.
Alex experienced the fun of a box for the first time last month. I'm sure there will be many many more adventures with boxes.
Alex LOVES the baby in the mirror and is discovering new things every day.
Alex loves being a big boy and sitting on the couch with mommy and daddy. While we study he studies too.

And all of our studing leads to success. Steve was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society. He is in the top 15%...or 5%...I can't remember which, of his class and was invited to join. We're really excited for the scholarship, grant, employment and networking opportunities this will present for us. Quin joined us at the banquet. Alex was a trooper and almost made it though the night. :-)

Wow Jess! Looks like things are just extra good for you guys. That's great. He is one cute little guy. I love those chubby cheeks! Luke is getting skinner and skinner because of all the moving around but he still has pretty good sized cheeks. Gotta love them.
